Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple is one of the famous temples of Kerala. It is a Hindu Mandir dedicated to the Deity Bhadrakali (Maha Kali, Durga, Kannaki). കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം is located in Kodungallur, Thrissur District, Kerala state, India. Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple is one of the oldest temples of Mahakali in Kerala. In this temple, the goddess in her fierce (‘ugra’) form, facing North, features eight hands with various attributes. One is holding the head of the demon king Daruka, another a sickle-shaped sword, next an anklet, another a bell, among others.
This temple is known as the modest land for the devotees of Mahakali. This temple was built in the architectural style of Kerala. - Chandattam => Famous Chandattam is conducted on the day of Kartika in the month of the medium in the Malayalam era.
