Yadagirigutta Temple is officially known as the “Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple”. It is a Hindu temple in the hillock in the small town of Yadagirigutta in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana State in India. Yadagirigutta Temple is considered as Telangana’s own Tirupati. This temple is dedicated to the god Narasimha, an avatar of Vishnu. It is one of the prominent temples of the Telangana.

As we know, Yadadri or Yadagirigutta temple is situated on a hillock in the small town of Yadagirigutta of Telangana. This temple is known by various names like Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Pancha Narasimha Kshetram, and Rishi Aradhana Kshetram. There is a famous legend about the temple According to the Skanda Purana, “Yada” the son of the sage Rishyasringa performed penance here to the god Narasimha. Historically, the temple has followed the Tenkalai tradition of the Vaishnava Agama Shastras as followed in South India.
