The Meenkulathi Temple is a famous Hindu shrine in Southern India. Sree Meenkulathi Bhagavathy Amman Temple is dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi. The devotees performed prayer here in front of their deity Meenakshi. It is one of the most popular and oldest temples in southern India. This temple’s unique thing is that it was built in a manner that the shadow of the wall never falls on the ground. About Meenkulathi Bhagavathi Amman Temple

Sree Meenkulathi Bhagavathi Amman Temple is located in Pallassana, a village in southern India (Kerala). This is the oldest temple in Pallassena. Tradition has it that centuries ago three families belonging to the Veerasaiva Mannadiar clan worshipped the goddess Meenakshi as their deity. ശ്രീ മീൻകുളത്തി ഭഗവതി അമ്മൻ ക്ഷേത്രം was built in Kerala-style architecture. The construction of the Temple is in such a way that the shadow of the wall never falls on the ground. At the temple, there are two entrances, one in the north and the other in the west. The temple tank is next to the western entrance.

At the Meenkulathi Bhagavathi Amman Temple, a variety of Puja & Darshna are performed by the people, and different types of festivals are celebrated. Navarathri, Karthigai, Mandala Vilakku, Maasi Thiruvizha, Pallivettai, and Bhairava Pooja are the most celebrated events & festivals in the temple. The eight-day Maasi festival includes Ottamthullal and Kathakali programs depicting scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
