Surutapalli Temple also known as the Pallikondeswara Temple is one of the famous temples of India, It is located in Surutupalle, a village in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This famous temple is Pallikondeswara, a form of Shiva.  The main deity of the Pallikondeswara Temple, Surutapalli is also similar to the other Shiva Temple, where Lord Shiva is sported in a reclining posture lying on the lap of his consort Parvati. This is the attraction for the all people, who worship Lord Shiva.

The temple was made in Dravidian architecture like another Temple of Southern India. A million devotees come here to worship Lord Shiva every year. The crowd will appear mostly at Festivals like Maha Shivratri.

Sri Pallikondeswara Swamy Temple, Surutapalli was built by the Vijayanagara king Harihara Bukka Raya (1344-47). And the Aipassi Annabishekam is the most major festival of the Temple. The temple structure is unique and very mysterious. Devotees come here to perform Abhishekam, special Pujas, and Aarti in front of Shiva & Parvati.
