1) Shri Mayureshwar Ganpati Mandir Morgaon

This temple is believed as the first temple of Ashtavinayaka Yatra. It is located in Moragaon in Pune District, about 65 km away from Pune city in Maharashtra. This Temple is dedicated to the Ganesha as Mayureshwar or Moreshwar. The temple is also known as the Shri Mayureshwar Mandir or Shri Moreshwar Temple. It is the starting and ending point of the Ashtavinayaka Yatra.

2) Siddhivinayak Temple, Siddhatek

Sidhivinayak is one of the most famous lord Ganesha Temple located on the northern bank of the river Bhima in Siddhatek in the Karjat taluka of Ahmednagar district. The nearest station is Daund (19 km). It is one of the “Ashtavinayaka”, the eight revered shrines of Ganesha in India. It’s only Ashtavinayaka shrine in Ahmednagar district.

3) Ballaleshwar Temple, Pali

Ballaleshwar Temple of Pali is one of the eight temples of Ganesh in Maharashtra. It is also the significant temple of the Ashthavinayak Temples. Varadavibayak Temple of Mahad is also spelled as Varadavinayaka Temple located in the Mahad Village of  Khalapur taluka near Karjat and Khopoli of Raigad District, Maharashtra State of India. It most significant pilgrimage among the eight Ganesha Temple of  Maharashtra and is situated at the 4th place. The temple was built (restored) in 1725 AD by Peshwa General Ramji Mahadev Biwalkar.

5) Chintamani Temple, Theur

It is a well-known Hindu temple, which is dedicated to lord Ganesh. It is also the most important temple of Ashtavinayak Yatra. This temple is located in the Pune district of Maharashtra. It is “one of the larger and more famous” of the Ashtavinayaka.

6) Girijatmaj Temple, Lenyadri

Girijatmaj temple of Lenyadri is the most famous temple for lord Ganesh and is also included in the eighth lord Ganesh temple of Ashtavinayak. The temple is situated at Lenyadri caves near Junnar, Pune District of Maharashtra State of India. Temple also called Ganesa Lena, Ganesh Pahar Caves, are a series of about 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves, located about 4.8 kilometers.
