This is a famous Hindu shrine located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The name Vishwanath means “Ruler of the Universe”. This temple is very old and was built in 1780. Many Hindu devotees visit this temple for darshan. As we know, in the northern side of India, many temples have been destroyed by Muslim Invaders for different interests. Here, you can perform daily rituals of the temple like Mangala Aarti, Bhog Aarti, Sandhya Aarti, Shringar Aarti & Shayan Aarti. But you have to present at the aarti time.

As we know devotees wait for their festivals to enjoy and worship the lord. Some important festivals are celebrated in Kashi Vishwanath Temple such as Mahashivaratri, Makara Sankranthi, Shravan festival, Diwali, and Rangbhari Ekadashi. On the festival days, the timings of the temple may be different from the normal days.
