This Temple is also famous for the name the ‘Naganadha Swamy Temple’ or ‘Kethu Temple’ located in Nagapattinam District, Tamil Nadu. The temple is purely dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of “Naganathaswamy” and Goddess Parvathi as “Soundaranayagi”. Ketu was enshrined with the body of an asura and the head of a snake at the Naganathaswamy Temple. Moreover, this place is also famous for the name the Vanagiri.
