Ragigudda Temple is known by many names like Sree Prasanna Anjaneyaswamy Temple and Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple. This is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Devotees of Lord Hanuman visit this temple which spreads across 5 acres. There are some other deities present like Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lord Lakshmana. This temple is situated on a hillock in Jayanagara 9th block Bengaluru, Karnataka. The main deity is Lord Hanuman and some others are Lord Ganesh, Navagrahas, and Goddess Rajarajeshwari.
About Ragigudda Shri Prasanna Anjaneyaswami Temple
The temple was formed in 1969 and officially registered in 1972. It is believed that Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy formed from a heap of Finger Millet. This is the reason why it is called Ragigudda. The temple has become the social center and provides affordable education and healthcare for needy citizens around the city. Secondary Education has been provided by the temple till 10th class in Kannada and English medium. As we know healthcare services how much important for people. Temple also provides healthcare services through Sanjeevini Arogya Tapasana Kendra and Yoga classes. It conducts free coaching for graduate students.
There are many festivals celebrated in this temple but the most important festival is Shree Hanuman Jayanthi. This is celebrated for 12 days with more than 35,00 pilgrims. In this festival, Yogas, poojas, and Abhishek are held for Lord Hanuman by the devotees. Management of the temple allocates prasad after completing all ritual activities for pilgrims. You can participate in various activities and work with volunteers to help in the management of the crowd. Hundreds of families visit Ragigudda Sree Prasanna Anjaneyaswamy Temple. Along with the festival, a big fair for devotees is decorated where you can buy many things.

Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple Entry Fees & Online Booking Process
There is an official website where you can get important information about temple darshan and timings. But there no online booking system has been implemented by the trust. So, you have to visit the temple-authorized ticket counter for the entry fee and darshan booking service. Temple authority has not mentioned any kind of entree fee for temple darshan. You can take free entry darshan.
