The temple is also famous with the name of the “Kamakshi Amman Temple” located in Kanchipuram, near Chennai, India, Tamil Nadu State at a distance of 73 km from Chennai. This Temple is purely dedicated to the Kamakshi, one of the forms of Goddess Parvati and also considered as one of the Shakti Peethas. So the Kanshi Kamakshi Temple was built by the Pallava Kings. Kanchi Kamakshi Temple Abhishekam Cost
In the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple, devotees can also perform the Abhishekam rituals on the timings of 5:30 am, 10:30 am and 4:00 pm. Devotees can perform the Ahishekam daily. Many devotees perform the abhishekam daily by booking the abhishekam ticket from the authorized ticket counter for the same day Abhishekam or a day in the booking is allowed. The fee for Abhisekham is Rs 1000/- only. But the small procedure is there to perform Abhisekham.

Thousands of worshippers visit the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple every day to receive the sacred darshan of Goddess Parvathi. On Fridays and weekends, a sizable number of devotees visit the temple. The chariot and float festivals, Navaratri, Aadi and Aippasi Pooram, Sankara Jayanthi, and Vasanta Utsavam are among the festivals observed at Kamakshi Amman Temple.
Most of the devotees only want to book the online Darshan for the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple. But there is no online facility available for booking the Darshan of the temple. Interested devotees can visit the temple directly and book the darshan from the ticket counter.
Kanchi Kamakshi Temple Online Booking for Special Darshan
On weekends, the general queue may take longer than fifteen minutes. This allows you to see the primary deity from outside the innermost chamber. Approach one of the temple priests who will be on the property if you want to receive a special darshan from close quarters without having to wait in a queue. They will perform pooja and obtain you a decent darshan for a fee of Rs 500 per person. But you cannot book the Special Darshan for the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple.
